Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a full stack developer with senior/lead level experience with Java (version 21), Flutter and React. This role will be 70% backend Java development and 30% front end using Flutter and React. This role will be supporting the software development team for a large retail company's distribution and fulfillment centers. This team is responsible for adding automation capacities into the fulfillment process through Goods to Person (G2P) robotics automation. They recently had a very successful piolet of Goods to Person within a single distribution and fulfillment center, and will now be rolling out this capability to the remaining facilities nation-wide. \n \nDay to day:\n•\t70% backend development using Java 21\n•\t30% front end Flutter and React \n•\tWorking as a Lead developer and driving software development forward as well as delegating work out to other developers supporting the project \n•\tLeveraging Claude for entire SDLC lifecycle \n•\tUsing spec-driven development \n \nLocation: 100% remote US working EST hours (preference to candidates local to Atlanta) \nPay rate: 52-55/hr.
